Shelly Bohorquez is a writer and editor based in Portland, Oregon. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in journalism and a minor in German. Shelly worked as a news editor for The Arbiter, the independent student newspaper at Boise State University, and has experience in SEO writing, freelance editing, and grassroots art projects.

In her free time, Shelly enjoys reading, journaling and meditating on the interconnected nature of the mind, body and spirit. A lifelong learner and hobby-starter enthusiast, she has also taken up oil painting, guitar and the art of bodybuilding.
